Hello Karen, another good POV for this shot of the rice field.I like the stretch of water that reflects the sky, and the slightly textured water where the planting has been done.
My back is aching just looking at him!
Tfs, regards Jean.

hi karen, another sharp shot and lovely composition...that's why our planting rice song goes; "mag-tanim ay hindi biro, mag-hapon naka yuko". (Planting rice is not a joke (or never fun), spending days bent over)..however a Tagalog to English or vice versa is hard since we do not have a verbatim translation...or the wordings never seem to quite capture the real essence of the original language.

Such lush greens in this composition. Vibrant and stimulating. I like green! Good POV used to capture the gridlike arrangement of this fields.

This is even more beautiful than the previous one... Excellent sharpness and colors. I like the way the low sky is reflected in the pools of water.

Karen, what a magnificent view!! The green is suculent, and the composition superb!! maybe we should think each time we have a bowl of rice, what a lot of work it implies!!

Hi Karen - This is a beautiful 'carpet'of rice paddies, interspersed by trees. What brings this image more to life, so-to-spek, is the farmer seen working in the foreground: It tells the story of hard work. Well done, my friend! - Cordelia :))

I love the geometric patterns of that photo. The point of view is very good and the colors perfect and natural. The presence of the man serves as a scale to compare.

This is an interesting documentary, showing the rice production early in the process!
And this is back-killing work, that is easy to imagine...
However the colour of freshly planted rice is probably the best green ever!

Hi Karen, A very fine landscape enhanced by your fine cropping and the presence of the solo figure planting the seedlings. Very effective image. TFS. Murray.

Make me feel so ashamed. I am in a country filled with paddy fields and I never get to capture a shot as beautiful as this. Colors are awesome. Job well done!

that's how it is when planting rice, Karen.. you have to plant in a small place first and then seperate it later on.. it really hurt my back.. heheheehee.. im glad i experienced this in my high school day.. my dad want me to know the hard life.. i love planting or harvesting but the only problem i can't stay that long on the hot sun..
beautiful shot of this place.. love it.
