|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|This is a very special cross. It marks the site of the sunken cemetery located in the island of Camiguin. It may seem impossible but there is a cemetery in that place that lies beneath 20 feet of sea water. (you may google it if you want...)|
There used to be a small town in that area until a large volcanic eruption by Mt. Vulcan Daan in 1871 sunk the town, together with its cemetary under the sea. Historical accounts estimate that there were at least 300 townfolks who also perished that fateful day
During lowtide, one can still see the tomb stones there. It has become a very unique dive site. Sounds scary?
This photo is actually taken by my wife using old Oly C4040Z :). She is a passive Trekker, one who doesn't have an account but religiously browse the photos here...
She wanted to show me that she too can shoot photos "without people in them". Thats how she refers to my landscape shots :D.
She used a lower POV to take advantage of the clouds (its already rainy season here so we have lots of these clouds nowadays). I wasn't there that time so this is all hers :)
Now, I don't want to comment on this because anything I say might be used against me LOL! So I leave it to you great folks of TL to tell her what you think...but be careful, she might fancy my D50 after this hehe
No points necessary, but your words would be welcomed.
Have a nice weekend everyone!

Hi Mrs Barredo,
Quickly, open an account on Tl. You have a eye of a true photographer!
Impressive low POV! This cross against the light has strong visual effect with the flares points and the dramatic cloudy sky. The sepia colors fit well in this moody image!
Alan, your note is very interesting! It must be stunning to see the tomb stones during low tides. You can lend your D50 to your wife. She will do a very good use of it! :)
astig! ginamitan mo ng glare ha? astig! ganda ng color tone..napaka dramatic panalo bro :)
