[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken last January during one of my organization's occassional climbing sprees.

Shown here are two of my friends who dared to scale the huge rock that gave the place its name: pico de loro. Pico de Loro is the highest point in the province of Cavite. It's not that high, but the view from the summit is pretty amazing.

I took the picture using my friend's camera, sony cybershot something. I'm just a beginner when it comes to taking pictures so i badly need advice. (Thanks!)

Anyway, for PP, i just croped a little here and there and fixed the brightness level because it was nearly noon when i took the pic.

Hi Michelle and welcome to TL. This is a nice image. You created a really good sense of depth the way you placed the rock in the picture. The color is nice. It is hard to eliminate haze when shooting high noon. Some have luck with a haze filter or polarizer. All in all it is a nice image and I look forward to seeing more posts from you. Brent

Hey Michelle, this is really beautiful...
It really puts things in perspective having those tiny people on top of the rock...Makes me tired trying to figure out how they got up there :)
Take care
Welcome to TrekLens!

Nothing wrong with the composition and the two friends are really lucky to have that view!
Have is always a factor in high light, but this has come through. The scale of the rock is also well shown. Well done, welcome and hope to see more from you. Tim

Hi Michelle, welcome to TL, great picture !! I like that you took your two friends up the rock, so we can see how big it is.

Looking forward to seeing more

Excellent sample of prespective! You have no idea the enormity of that stone whatsoever until you see the people standing there. It's amazing the affect they have on this photo. And, I can't believe they had the guts to scale it. Great view and great shot, Michelle.
