Hi Chris, good repetition of the rice paddies.Their irregular shapes adds to the charm of the scene.I like the little patches of bright green and the buildings dotted about.
The presence of people adds scale.
Where did you take the shot to get this elevated PoV?

Repetition of rice field demonstrate that repetition could be irregualar, but it is effectively repetition. Good high POV, I am surprised you took this image with a 55mm, it looks more compress as a telephoto, unless you cropped your original image to focus on the field. Nice work and TFS.

Hi Chris,A good choice for this weeks theme,one really gets the feel for the size of these rice fields.Good details & clarity,I bet this is an even more vibrant & striking image when viewed at full size.You certainly captured all the various green hues,I also imagine that the irrigation system must be unique.TFS.

HI Chris,

The repetition of the rice paddies is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the different rice paddies. The afternoon light is giving nice tints to the colors. A good contribution to the Friday's theme, have a nice day.
