This is a wonderful shot where you share the RAW beauty of Nature from a well thought perspective, Jovie!

I like the POV here which gives certain depth in the scene.
The fields in the FG give a good sense of symmetry here, and the suspended clouds on and around the pointed-top volcano add mood into the scene.
Great natural colors are caught here.

Good work!

Thanks and regards,
Paras

Awesome view of the beautiful volcano. I think this is the greatest symbol of the Philippines, nicely captured and good framing. Too bad about the electric wires otherwise well done, tfs.

A cousin lives in Legaspi City, her husband's family owns the Estevez Hospital, and I promised to stop by next time I visit the old country.

Hi Jovie,

this is a shout one does not see every day... I love the overall site it is a great picture and please accept my comment in a constructive way:

Jovie, you have so many good pictures on TL. what I am going to comment should be basic for you:

1. The Volcano is centered.. cropping a third of either side would make a big difference.
2. Was there a reason for shooting with f/4?

I still love the shot... It is awesome... TFS

Hi Kabayan.

For me, this is a good landscape shot. The sky is a bit washed out but the foreground is busy with strong colours to boost. The Volcano's strong character( the cone shaped sides) were well captured. The composition can still be improved but that way you shot this, must be a reason why you've chosen the POV and position ov the volcano.

Overall, I like the way you presented this. One day, I will definitely go there.

You are all-over the Philppines, you must be a heck of a busy-traveller! hehe :)

Cheers!
