This is a picture of a poor fly. I was taking pictures of Football samples in our bladder production area. Then I realized there was something interesting in the Water tank where we used to clean the chemicals from the bladders (Bladder is a rubber ball which is plugged inside the footballs so it can be filled with air and due to it the ball gets the movement).

This was a poor fly drowned and watching its position I can bet it really tried hard to survive. You can also see its last breath bubble near on its left side near mouth.

5 Shot were taken.4 without flash and one with flash. The small white particles in the picture are chemicals of bladders which shined here due to the flash. The pictures taken without flash were useless and only one might work and will post that on Trek-nature later. The One with flash was really magical and I am posting it.

In Adobe PS.

Nothing special done just levels dropped to make the background darker as it was white. Cropped and then Sharpened.

I posted the original picture in the WS if some one wants to give a Workshop please work on the Picture in WS because the posted picture cannot be much useful for you.

Some friends might find the flash not good but this picture is a Tribute to the fly as there pictures gave me lot of Knowledge in Macro shots.

May the Soul of this fly Rest in Peace.

Hi my friend

A super shot. Looks like the star system of a different galaxy...aka starwars hehehe...

Very 'apart'pictue, Ali.
In a square frame it should look even better ?

Hy Muhammad!

Poor fly, are so much that fall and has this sad end. But for r work I see that it was not easy to give so many shots like this, in fact it was very good, in colors and in the details.

Hi Ali,
The poor little fly looks to be frozen in time.
A very interesting macro.
Good note as well.
Kind regards,

Hi Muhammad,

Nice shot . . As Jan suggested, it would be better if it's in square frame . .
It's life, most flies ended in a glass of sweet drink . . .

Hi Muhammad,
... interesting one! I must admit I've never saw such a photo on TL yet... Original and creative. Good for you.

Nice meeting you and your gallery!

Hi Muhammad,
Superb original capture. Great colors and sharpness. As other have suggested, I believe It would have looked better in a square format. Well done. Congrats.

Many thanks for your comments on "Wait! Wait!"

Too interesting. really an effective fly.

Hi my friend
This is a great idea and a fascinating shot. The workshop you've posted shows just how imaginative your post-processing is. Your notes are among the best on TL.

Interesting picture, the flash reflecting off the particles in the liquid has definately given the picture an other-worldly feel. Well spotted and well taken.
Thanks for sharing
