[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is another shot from my trip to japan. It is the stairs at the exit of Kiyomizu-dera. The temple dates back to 798, but the present buildings were constructed in 1633. The temple takes its name from the waterfall within the complex, which runs off the nearby hills. (Wikipedia)

I took this shot on My pentax - i think i was using Konica 200 iso - but i will check the negs.

The angle of this shot is a bit unusual - but i like it. The trees around this temple are a major feature and i wanted to include them in this shot.

Hope you like it!

Cool shot! I like the angle you chose for the stairs. At first it seemed to pull my attention to the left and away from the trees on the right, but those trees demanded my attention as soon as I got my eyes further down the stairs. I'm still new to editing photos, but is there a way to maybe bring out a little more color in the trees?

Hi Ashlee

Now where have I seen this before?, lol. Great minds think alike. Tfs!
