this is a powerful image any time from any angle. Juxtaposed by the ribver and park, it seems quite surreal here. Great comp and colours

Hi Chris,

A lovely photo of this Dome! Very vivid in details and colours! A monument full of unpleasant memories. Great POV with strong lead in line.

Well done

Hello Chris, interesting note. Great composition of the canal that leads our eyes to the end of the pic.

I love the contrasting colours of blue and green. Great sharpness, lovely sky. Realistic colours.

Great contrast of the new and the old architecture.

Hi Chris,
Looks very peaceful. Can't imagine how this place must have looked on August 6, 1945.

Hi Chris,
interesting that that structure withstood the bombing and nice to see it amongst the new architechture. Very nice composition, the old mixed with the new. Very nice POV and good depth.

Strange to see a beautifull photo of a City that has known this strong horror. Mixed feelings but not for this photo Chris! Welldone TFS

I like the depth and colours in this picture, Chris. Good job.

Best regards,

Just amazing! I have seen pictures of the blast, with this dome in it and total destruction everywhere?
