OK, This is a hippo!

Hello Benyamin,
Good framig and wonderful Photo.

YIKES!!! How I would hate to meet this fellow head on! Great scary shot!

Vite, un dentiste !!! Il y a une urgence !

Hi Ben,
Must be a hippo. Scary! But well captured with good sharpness and colors. Best wishes.

Benyamin, you did it again. You create things that I would want to paint. This is going into my favorites before the 'ink' is dry. Your POV and PP work is flawless! Of course you used a zoom. Even real artists aren't that crazy to get so close to one of the most dangerous animals on the face of this earth....

it´s the dentist´s favorite! *g*
seems the hippo could use a new toothbrush.
nice close-up, ben, showing us all the great oral details.
well seen & captured, thor.

Many thanks for your comment on
First Basin II

Hi benyamin,

Such a dangerous shot!!!
And this Hippopotamus looks hungry,

Good job,

Hello Ben,
Amazing photo here. I was in the Rhodesian army back in 1977/8 and was actually attacked by one of these monsters, so I've seen this close-up view....... without a camera. I was in a canoe at the time, right in the middle of the Zambezi River near a place called Kazangula, (Zimbabwe).

Amazing close-up here Ben. Very sharp and well framed as well as excellent DoF. You can even se a strand of saliva from top to bottom of its mouth.

Verry well captured here.
Barry Johnston

WOW Great catch of a hippo's mouth wide open.TFS.

What a mouth! And look at those teeth... dirty too.
Good catch Ben, well timed, TFS

Hi Benyamin,
This is an excellente shot.
What a mouth, what at those teeth...

Good job,

Well Ben, your hippo gives 100% co-operation to the Zoo's dentist in removing his plaque ^_^
Good shot and good angle. Compliments!

I never thought of a hippo as a scarey animal! Now I do!! Very cool shot, it must have taken you a while to get this picture. Awesome job!

Hi Benyamin.
Your a brave man! I haven't seen a hippo in years but I can remember they are pretty big and can be aggressive if they feel like it...
Nice close up and good timing.
Well done,

Hi Benyamin,
very good close taken. your timing is excellent. I can see all details in this hole. congratulations.

He or she could use some the Teeth Whiteners on the market..otherwise great photo

il faut vraiment le faire, tu as du prendre des risques, mais bonne réussite

Nice shot. But the quality of the shot is not as nice. I think it whould have been better if you had arranged the contrast and the colors afterwards using ps. I tried to do it myself in the workshop.
Cheers mate!

Hi Benyamin

Fantastic close up shot you have here
It's not necessarily pretty but it’s fascinating to look at.

Thanks for sharing

Nice shoot:) I played with your pic, you can see my workshop.
In my opinion its great picture just needs level adjustment:)

Hi Ben, Excellent close-up. This is worthy of the National Geographic magazine! Good colours , clarity and note. These are supposed quite dangerous creatures in the wild? Murray.

Great scary shot!!!
Excellent POV. Thank you for the note -> very interesting
bye Aga

WOW! That's a wonderful shot! You're a brave guy - I wonder how did you get that close to the hippo...

What a mouth! And look at those teeth...

I love to see pictures of hippos with their mouth wide open and collect them. It is something really fascinating for me.

Their mouth is HUGE, absolutely amazing, fantastic, stunning, incredible, imponent, colossal, majestic, fascinating, powerful and ravishing. At the same time it is indescribable, scary, freaky and creepy as hell.

Looking at a hippo's mouth takes my breath away. Everything inside their mouth is terrific (despite the rotten teeth)!

Hippos can open their mouth to 4 feet - only whales can open their mouth wider than a hippo. WOW!

In this picture, we can see most of the details inside the hippo's wonderful mouth. We can even see saliva inside his mouth.

Congratulations, dude!
