Tomb of Royal Physician of The Qutub Shahi rulers of Golconda, Hyderabad India.
This tomb was erected in memory of the departed royal physician of the Qutub Shahi dynasty.
There are about 20 tombs of Qutub Shahi rulers and their close associates. These are truly magnificent monuments that have stood the test of time and the vagaries of nature. These imposing marvels of architectural excellence stand as solemn reminders of the grandeur and glory of Golconda and the great kings and their favorite courtiers who are buried here.

These tombs mark a unique architectural style which is a mixture of Persian, Pathan and Hindu forms. The arcades on all the sides and the pointed arches add to their beauty and grace. Situated 1 kilometre away from Golconda fort these tombs need attention and without official patronage these will slowly deteriorate.
The Andhra Pradesh government should invest in their restoration and these itself will generate enough income for their maintenance from tourism.
Thanks for visiting.

Dear Muhammad ji,

This is wonderful post showing an amazing architecture!

I like the exposure in this picture where the artwork on the facade of this beautiful building is well defined in this work. The sharpness and POV are excellent, however, I am bit concerned about the ground leveling in this shot, it seems as if the building is leaning to the right?

A lovely work all in all!

Best regards,
Paras

Bom dia Muhammad,

Beautiful old construction, good POV and nice colors and light.

Parabéns!
Sergio

Good morning friend Muhammad

Nice capture of the former grandeur of this old Indian tomb. I agree that they should be looked after. Perhaps a small admission fee to help with maintenance? Good sharpness & well positioned away from the center on the right. Tfs!

Hi Muhammad,
Good capture of this interesting tomb. Indeed a symbol of past glory. I did not realise the mixture of architectural styles in this type of buildings.
Sunil
