Dear All,

This is the shot which I took on the banks of the Sirhind Canal looking towards the dam constructed on it.

It was windy on that day and the sky was cloudy to some extent. I tried to bring the old tree against the modern-age bridge in the BG. Hope you like it.

Best greetings,

The below information is from Wikipedia:

The "Sirhind Canal" is a large irrigation canal that carries water from the Sutlej River in Punjab state, India. It is one of the oldest and biggest irrigation works in the Indus river system, and was inaugurated in 1882 CE. The canal begins at Ropar headworks near Ropar city in Rupnagar district of Punjab.

Hi Paras,
A nice natural frame for this Nature shot!
A splendid tree which depicts old age contrasting with the modern architectural technology.
Good light management and a neat presentation.

Hi Paras,

Looks like a banyan tree or even a Moreton Bay fig tree although I'm sure they don't have those in India. Good use of the tree to frame the bg barrage. Reasonable sharpness & good layering depth & graphism with the tree also. Tfs!

Hi Paras,

I like the weeping willow tree tree acting as a frame for the bg barrage. Nice work... TFS!

Hello Paras :)

You showed this channel which presents himself magnificently very nicely.
Natural colours and light in the very interesting composition.
Tree on first plan creates the natural frame for the channel in the background.
The very pretty, showy work, I like him very much!

Best wishes.

Hello Paras,
That's a lovely combination of an old tree and newer concrete steel structure. Nice use of tree as motif which is looking interesting in this scene. A wonderful snapshot, well done my friend. Thanks for sharing.
Best Wishes,

Awesome use of the natural framing material and good peek of the dam. Good lighting in spite of the cloudy condition. Very well done, tfs.

Ola Paras
I love the perspective you adopted here, with the ancient tree working as a natural and elegant frame to the bridge in the distance. Great light and contrast, and a very well done composition.
My compliments, mb

Lovely tree framing your shot of the dam and providing nice silouhettes.

Hi Paras,

By looking at this old tree, it passed by many people and events beside and if it had to illustrate then the inks and paper could not manage. About the shot, it reminds me of my one shot of tree by placing a casino instead of thid dam there in Western Australia, it is well shot in nice DOF by keeping the whole in focus, TFS.
