[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi all,

Speaking of the subject photographed; St Lawrence Church in Attur, Karkala (Mangalore)built during the British period has always been an important pilgrimage site and a architectural marvel. It was also called the town of black granite''. Interestingly, the black granite all over this town attracted many regimes and was utilized to great effect by the Jains. Its also a impressing and striking huge monolith Bahubali statue (Gomateshwara Betta), the second tallest in India. This place has two very important temples; the Antapadmanabha Temple of Lord Vishnu and Venkataramana Temple apart from the famous lake Ramasamurda.

Cheers,
Anil Pinto

Hello Anil
Good colours and sharpness. An amazing building, such bright tones. A small note about where it is and a little history would have been nice.
Regards, and welcome, Leslie

Welcome to TL! This is a great first post, full of clear and interesting detail. What post-processing did you use for its almost surreal quality?:) Good shot and beautifully presented. Keep posting!
