Near Lijiang above the upper end of DongBa Valley. Elevation is near 4600 metres amsl at this point. I first said 4800 metres but I checked and 4680 is the correct elevation for the top station. My apology for that error.

Hello Neel
How amazing it is 4800 metres amsl it looks cold and dry great details well done NEELS GUNTER

Hi Neels,
Some serious climb and one can just feel the freezing temperatures. A great image and what a bonus to have experienced something like this, well presented and great entry for the theme.
erwin...

This looks like a very long walk and at such an elevation you would probably need to keep walking to keep warm. It must have felt very special being up there. TFS
Good contribution to theme
regards
David

Bom dia Neels,
The true altitude is of little relevance at the beauty of the snowy mountain.
Nice picture.

Hi Neels, Great contribution to the Friday Theme. Nice winter tones and colours saturations. Wonderful POV and composition. The cold steam adds extra cold to the atmosphere. Everything is in details. Thank for sharing
Anna

Hello Neels, an amazing walkway that winds its way up the mountainside; no wonder that there is snow if it is over 4000 metres high.
Did you desaturate the rocks or are they really this colour?
I imagine that it is quite cold up there.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Bonjour Neels
Un petite "grande muraille" ,(great wall) c'est assez impressionnant
Tres bonne composition

Hi Neels..very dramatic shot with excellent focus and depth of field. This would be much too high for me to climb....impressive nature!
