[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Shanghai has one of the most famous and interesting harbors in the world. This is the Bund.

I shot this as a panorama composed of about eight shots vertical using a 24mm ts lens.

Beautiful panoramic view of this city. I like the effect of the mist or cloud on the mood. Good pov and dof with nice details even at a long exposure. Well done, tfs.

Hi Roger
splendid panorama photo. Well done with connecting nocturnal shots of the wonderful skyline of Shanghai. fine lights, reflections and colors.

Superb...I would love to vist Shangai...it is a new world full of light,
Your photos is amazing Congratulations
um abraço

Hi Roger
An excellent shot. I like the letterbox presentation, I think it suits this image. The image is nice and sharp with good exposure, with the exception of the building on the right with the red band at the top.

No distortion or clues of any merging of all eight shots, well done Roger,I imagine blown up to it's full scale, this composition would be quite vibrant & dramatic. Can visualize it hanging on some corporate Directors office wall.

Beautiful night photo, nice panorama vie of Shanghai, good light management

Hello Roger,

The technical aspects of your images usually are rather informative and a pleasure to read but this time I am not with you. Please can you explain about a vertical panorama and the ts lens.

The Bund is a fascinating place with the Pearl Tower and the other beautiful buildings on the Pudong side of the Huangpu River so well displayed at night and this is a fabulous image of that famous landmark in Shanghai. Very well done indeed.

Best wishes

salut roger,
un parfait panorama..
j'adore ça

Hi Roger
I checked out the large image , and its lovely.
A bit of low cloud, reflecting the light from the city buildings. And the Bund... well, what can I say, except that it from your description of the taking of this shot, took a lot of effort to do it, but well worth doing.

Hi Roget.

Stunning light show to this city panoramic scene.

stv ;o))

Hello Roger,a superb panoramic shot of Shanghai. The large version helps us to appreciate all the details.
As Ronald has stated, there is no sign of this being a composition of 8 shots.Very well done.
