[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
There is this park in Chengdu (Riverview Park) that is divided into two parts; one free side and the other side you have to pay an entrance fee. Of course both sides are way different from each other!
The paying park has beautiful plants, flowers, ponds and architecture. Very nice to take landscape and flower pictures.
The free side looks less nice and is very busy! But that is the nice part about it; the people. You can take interesting pictures of people practicing Kung Fu or playing instruments and even playing with diablos. Everything you can imagine is there.
So worth spending a whole day.
Of course you already guessed that this picture has been taken in the paying part. Over the summer (when I was childless and still had plenty of time to go to take pictures) I did a photo tour here in Chengdu and we went to see both side.
Enjoy
David

In de winter kan men ook zonnige fotos doorsturen !

Composition and colours and DOF are all exquisite.

You mentioned that you rarely add sharpening - to me that is the one finishing touch this shot lacks, it leaves it looking just a little too soft IMO.

dear David,
fantastic lotus flower,
very soft and delicate touch of petals is wonderful,
and so quiet and tender atmosphere is well captured,
it makes me feel one illusionary dream at moment,
thank you,
Akihisa
