These musicians played beautifully in garden in Suzhou, however, they looked extremely bored- maybe it is my western eyes that perceived this. I don't know.

Music repeating play in their dreams. Doing the same job repeating everyday....I understand how they feel.

Hi Jean,

Yes, they look very bored and a bit blured. This is because of the slow shutterspeed of 1/13. By choosing a wider aperture and increasing the ISO you could have gotten higher shutter speeds and make them sharper.

I think your perception is accurate. I've seen some very lively, riveting performances. If the guy's hand wasn't blurred, they could be mistaken for mannequins. Good job.

Pingtan was hearing art. Be hearing art, it gives the audience broader space for imagination.
so their faces are blank, and so some foreigners feel bored.
