[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The morning after a night's rain at Namtso in Tibet. We were camped at Namtso, a sacred lake at 15,500ft. in Tibet, when it rained all night and the next morning the surrounding hills were covered in snow. This is a camp close to ours with yaks and sheep owned by Tibetan nomads grazing in the background. That is part of Namtso also seen in the background.

-Shot and adjusted in RAW
-Adjusted levels globally
-Increased contrast slightly in curves
-Lightened foreground using curves and gradient mask
-Adjust levels of sky using a gradient mask to bring out the clouds more
-Resized aand USM

Hi David

The white tent reminds me of a Mongolian 'ger'. Superb colour & sharpness with excellent composition. Tfs!

Hello David,
A fine capture and an amazing location!
Image is well composed, and the snowy mountains look awesome in the morning sun...
Many interesting details in this fine document!
Pablo -

Very nice composition and perspective! The exposure is perfect for so many different light sources and the DOF great.

Nice spacing, David. I like the proportion between the various textures and colors of the picture. I can almost feel and smell the chilli wind coming down from those freshly "sugared" mountains. Thanks for bringing us along.
