Sok Kwu Wan Harbor - Hong Kong
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|I had an extra day in Hong Kong and visited Lamma Island. After a wonderful but sweaty hike across the island we decided to go back to our hotel on Kowloon. We had to wait for the ferry to arrive and killed our time standing on the pier watching the local fishermen return from their day on the sea.|
Lamma Island, and especially Sok Kwu Wan have a much more authentic feel than the modern city of Hong Kong. It is as if you are stepping back in time and as if the big city is miles away. Hence the reason why I opted for a back and white version.

Boa tarde Niek,

I like this B&W conversion of this lovely panorama. It's very detailed that, in my opinion there's no need of colors! A splendid reflection in the water with a slight ripple to render it more attractive.
A nice POV with a considerable depth into the perspective.
Very neat work.

A good b&w image, with nice reflections & well composed with the boats having plenty of space. Excellent graphism & lighting contrasts. The receding waterfront cafes & shops at left add good linear perspective. Tfs!
