After the rain
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|I realize that this is a very simple image but nothing moves as fluidly like the water drops collected on a lotus leaf after the rain... it is so relaxing to watch as the water passes along the ribbed textures of the leaf from side to side as the wind rustles the large leaves....I am always amazed how nature never fails to enthrall my senses. I captured this behind my place where there is a beautiful lotus planted mini water stream as you come up the driveway. Hope you like this and any comments welcome.|

I like the view of this water droplet you have captures here. Almost looks like a gem or ice. Awesome macro. The vien lines leaving the center of the leaf create a focal point for the viewer. nice work on such a simple POV.
What a beautiful artistic image!
Love the approach in bringing out the delicate details of this leaf and a molten jewel on it, Dilshan!
The sharpness and POV are excellent, and colors are attractive.
The DOF is well done, and nice management of light also enhances the overall appeal of the picture.
Good macro shot!
