Into the Sun
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|A local fisherman making his way into the swelling tidal river at dusk...I waited for him to move into the path of the rimming light to capture this silhouette. The reflection of the bright sun was shining quite intensely at the top part of the image and I used a ND filter effect in LR 3.0 to tone down this bright area...any comments always welcome and thanks for viewing.|

Wow ! It's a beautiful shot Dilshan !
I like fisherman's silhouette in front of this beautiful illuminated river. Colors are really soft and give such an atmosphere to the scene. I particularly love the little glitters shining on all the picture. The general composition is plaisant and nice PoV to capture this man going to the river.
The only thing that disturbs a little my look is the highlighted zone on the top part. I imagine that it was not easy to work on it so that it could be less visible on your picture. I don't know what it would be the best to do, but you managed it in a good way I think.
Love the spots of reflective light. The Fisherman is kind of inbetween what I think he should be. maybe more exposed or more of a silhouette IMHO. Still an eye catcher. I like it
This is a nice experiment where you got wonderful results and I enjoy watching such lovely picture with immense "mood" hidden in them!
The light is amazing and exposure is simply wonderful to enlighten the situation beautifully.
Great silhouette of the fisherman against the water makes this work so special in its appeal.
Have a wonderful Sunday.
