|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|While I took this shot I had no idea what it would become and soon after altering the RAW file I began to see the Silhouetted shape of the sleeping giant. The huge rock boulders (in the foreground) are placed on the shoreline to minimize land erosion at a local beach. Taken during the blue hour with a wireless remote, tripod, and Live view enabled. Any comments always welcome. |
Shot in 14 bit RAW,
Processed in LR 3.0 and resized/output sharpened/frame applied in CS 5.0

A splendid atmosphere of this sunset/sunrise shot with all the beautiful hues of the phenomenon!
Yes, the silhouetted rock in the FG seems as a face of a huge giant with the nose clearly visible and the profile there to be admired!
Very nice cloud formation tinted with the reddish cast!
A very sharp and neat image.
My best regards,
What a beautiful moos you have caught here, Dilshan!
The cloud formation gives an artistic look whereas an ambient light adds extra charm to the overall picture.
The sharpness and POV are excellent, and colors are natural.
Thanks and regards,
The giant looks like Abe Linlcon. Very nice capture with good dof with nice details. I like the color of the sky and clouds. Well done, tfs.
Nice shot Dilshan. Beautiful color and a lovely scene. TFS, Lori

I really like the look and feeling of this image with a mix of silhoutted forground elements and a very vibrantly colored sky making a very dramatic scenic compostion.
