[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi Everyone!
In the coming days, I'll be posting some photos I took during my trip to Lake Sevan.
So this was a photography trip at late autumn, lovely seneray, nice weather, good lighting (low saturation though) that I enjoyed much.

I was testing my EF-S 18-55mm at f/11 (or f/8 at times,) which is considered to be the sweet spot of this lens. I must admit I am horrified with the maximum this lens can provide... This lens is only acceptable if you really can't afford a better one. The results are nothing near acceptable (after the prime).
I have a prime 50mm f/1.8 which full open beats this one in sharpness. I think I'll keep my 50mm almost all the time on the camera, until wide angle is really-really needed.

So about the technical side of this photo:
This was shot at 18mm. I climbed on a column to get an interesting POV.
The sky and the mounts were re-extracted from the RAW file to retain more detail from the highlights.
Other PP work included saturation increase (as I shoot parameter 2, which is a little low on saturation and sharpness) and tripple Unsharp Mask as following:
300%, 0.3px, 3lvl
120%, 0.7px, 3lvl
20%, 30px, 0lvl

Hope you find it interesting...
Have a peaceful day!

Garo, what an excellent scene you have here. The triange of sheep are just so great and interesting too. The colours and tones are superb, and the clouds top it off perfectly. Well done.

Great shot, amazing landscape, Garo !!!
The sky is impressive ...

Dear Garo,

The lines in this image make this a wonderful composition: mountains, valley, trail, and sheep all seem to be in unison. Beautifully rendered image!!
