[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is part of a thermal radiator in our office.
The dominant light source here was the almost overhead sunlight. I suddenly realized how the texture of the metal was emphasized under this lighting. Took about six shots. Almost all of them look interesting to me.
PP:
* Crop/resize
* Curves to enhance contrast
* Layer duplicate and set the upper layer opacity to 50%
* Unsharp Mask on the lower layer of 110%, 0.5px 1thrs
* Framed

P.S.:
Here is another version of this shot, presented in a totally new perspective and effect.

I know someone who would really apriciate this shot - Avigur! Incredible, this doesn't even look like rust. Looks like a super macro of...something...cool! Mabye there is a bit to much contrast but on the other hand it enhances the structure very well. You are defentaly right though, it's an intresting shot.

Wow, this looks like anything but a thermal radiator.;-) This is a great image, as it has some mystery to it, the direct overhead sunlight really enhances the texture, colour, and the mystery.
This is a well seen shot and well captured, you have done a great job here Garo.
Well done, and a good note.

Very sharp and rich colours,incredible textures.
I wouldnt have guessed it was a radiator.
It looks to me like something from a shipwreck,some old metal object on the sea bed.
Good work,very well done.

Very good texture. Colors are evry rich too. Very graphic.

Very good shot with an excelent tonal range of colors.A thermal radiator...one again, definitly a proof that ordinary can become axtraordinary depending on how someone "looks" at it.

Hi Garo, I agree with zto, Avigur would love this one. I love the texture and I think you did a great post-processing job. Very well done.

The beauty of rust and dust... Thanks for this great picture !

very good picture Garo...as Zandra wrote it looks somthing else because of strong contrast..I liked it very much that you handled an everyday object (we have a lot of rusty old things around here in our lives) into a very artistic picture..thanks..
