This is the greatest known curtain of falling water in the world and one of the seven natural wonders. The 1.7 km long, 108 m high basalt cliff transforms the Zambesi river into a ferocious torrent, creating a noise that can be heard from a distance of 40 km and a mist rising to over 400 m that can be seen from 50 km. No wonder that the locals used to call Victoria Falls Mosi-o-Tunya ("the smoke that thunders").

A great POV of the falls, must be hard keeping your camera dry with the mist,
I lived in Joburg for many years and always regret not getting up to the falls

Hello Mike

I like the image for the power portrayed. But the foreground does not seem to add to the image. The trees on the other side give the sense of enormity of the falls. Sill a good note and sharp image.
