Victoria falls

An other shot taken from the helicopter during my flight over the Victoria falls, this time from the south east Zimbabwe side. The view was awesome, hope you enjoy the panorama as I did during my heli ride.

PP work: shot in raw, adjusted clarity, brightness and contrast. Converted to jpeg, adjusted levels and curves, cropped, sharpened using USM, resized, sharpened again with different USM setting, add frame.

Sublime, splendid capture of this natural wonder! Must have been worth every penny to bring back and experience this kind of memory. Lovely pp work and presentation too, with an amazing POV- a masterclass of a shot!

Another fine and sharp view Hans - very clear, nice compo showing the general flat landscape and the way the gorges cut into it (7 gorges in all)..
The heli takes you quite high over the town of Vic Falls itself giving a good idea of the amount of water flowing down the Zambezi during the rainy season..

I love this town ;-)

WOW! What a magnificent panoramic shot Hansie! Seems you are up in a space ship, or on top of a mountain! Beautiful, love the sunlight dancing off the falls!

Hello HAns

A spectacular view of the famous falls. Love the crop and frame.

Hi Hans,

The view is awesome, and it's interesting (to me at least) how small the falls look from this perspective. Very sharp and your pp work brought out the best in this view.

Wow! What a view of this amazing place! It does not look so massive from this distance, but seeing the roadway, and the buildings puts it all into perspective. Incredible view from the helicopter.
You've seen some amazing places in this way .. I'm envious of that. I'm not a huge fan of air travel .. just as a means to get me where I want to go .. otherwise I would likely avoid a sightseeing trip like this!
Hope you've had a nice weekend Hans

An amazing sight, given appropriately cinematic and dramatic treatment by your framing. It must have been an incredible trip to see them. Great light, clarity, and composition in this shot - it's a winner.

an amazing sight, very nice, thanks,
