Bronze Mannikins are found in the grasslands in most bush land areas near thickets or old farmland areas.Small flocks are often found forraging on the ground or in the grasses. These however have found a small paradise in the garden where there is always food and water for them. They like to drink water from the gutters as there is certain minerals and algae they need.

Hello Erwin,
Perfect capture of the frantic activity in very good sharpness and overall quality. And taken at just the right moment for excellent composition. In fact, I am lost for adequate adjectives as this is such a fantastic image. I have been looking at this image growing on me for quite a long time, and what a pleasure! Well done!

Bom dia Erwin,
How much joy, how much turbulence.
We have much to learn from the birds.
Very interesting snapshot.
Good weekend.
