Hi Jacques,
Almost a surrealistic picture, not only by the tremendous sky, but also by the nice color of the sand. The blue lights on the pier accelerate this effect.... It almost could be outher space on a planet we didn't know it exist.
Well done,

Good composition and a very moody location. I love the warm colours and I can almost feel and hear the ocean

This is a very impressive and effective composition.

Nice effect of the water on the beach. Gives a calm moodiness which is pleasing. Good light metering and DOF used too.

Well done and TFS,

WOW. One way to some this up. I think that this is your best shot to date. Love it !!

Hello Jacques,

This is a beautiful shot. The colors, the mood, the feel, the POV, the details; all great and the sharpness is excellent.
I love it!

A very peaceful image to look at. The colours are subdued, but still very effective. The detail in the sand and the flow of the water are great.
While the sky does have some interesting clouds I wondered whether there was too much of it. The horizon cuts the image in half. If you crop a bit of the grey sky off (about half of the sky) it would adjust the position of the horizon relative to the frame and create just as spectacular an image with more effective composition.
Amazing image.

A shot with wonderful atmosphere and techinical quality. I do agree with the suggestion for a tighter crop at the top though. Well done

Excellent capture at right time and expoiure. See my taste at Workshop.

Don't like the HPP. The thumbnail looks nice, but the bigger image doesn't. I am missing a bit of sharpness and detail. Did you add noise to the sky on purpose?
And maybe the biggest turn-down, all the white spots on the rocks.

Anyway, my 2 cents.

nice shot with some nice colors.
a few suggestions though
you could have placed the horizon in the bottom third instead of slap bang in the middle.
you used a slow shutter speed which is obviouse by the wave trail left in the lower right region. you could have streached this a bit longer to give a complete trail along the entire coast line.
nice anyways.
