|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|In the searing heat of the Namibian Desert in summer, one does not expect to find green landscapes. And, no surprise, you do not find lush greenery.|
But you do find awesome vistas and wonderfully colourful groundformations. And open, clean and unpolluted sky.
The picture was taken in the Khan River valley. The river very rarely has any water. It flows about once every 10 years. The rest of the time it is a dry riverbed, ideal for travel with a 4-wheel drive vehicle to explore all the wonderful vistas.
I LOVE THIS PLACE!
Taken with a LPL filter and in pp very little shadow adjustment and a slight crop and framed.

What a great place that must be!
The colours in the photo are briliant! Amazing blue sky, great sharpness on the mountains and the grass and the sand in the front looks a little dreamy.... if you know what I mean... Beautiful!!!
Outstanding composition! No wonder you love it. I love the blue tones, as well as the textures from the ground. Great details, contrast, and presentation.
