[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken in the old Medina in the city of Fez. This one of the largest and oldest medinas in the world. medina means old city. It is a rabbit warren of narrow streets and alleyways that is an absolute fascinating place for an outsider to visit. It looks a frightening place for a foreigner to go, but we went with a group of locals who escorted us. The people were very friendly.

Hi Sunil,
Beautiful play with light in this coverted to B&W shot. I really like the dramatic effect you managed to produce. Splendid shadows and perfect exposure management to prouce every detail in the whole presentation.
Very artistic work.
My best regards,

Francis Xavier

Bom dia Sunil
What a busy place, and culturalone too. I like the b/W choice and the atmosphere everything is there , everything is so busy of details and colors that we feel in another planet. I believe I was there so surprised that I had no time to think but I was with all seenses alert. Your not eis interesting and the post too. The light is very hard there , in fact there is so much shadows there...your phoyo gives that feelingof shades...people ,motos " run" among us. It is an unbelieble place.,,,oh sorry I would be here " talking" to you ...ehehe

Ciao Sunil, fascinating B&W composition with fantastic light, magic atmosphere full of mistery, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

I like the play of light and shadows here Sunil. The whole composition has an air of mystery, further enhanced by the b/w. The people in various poses add interest and my eye is drawn to the patterned tiles on the wall to the right of the man standing. Interesting daily life shot.

Hi Sunil.

The tones ehnace the atmosphere and bustle of the place, people going about their daily business. The angle too with the slopes to the wall adds much appeal. tfs
