It gives me good memories of good old Goa,almost exactly the same kind of coastline with the high palms lined along the sandy beach.
Thanks David!

Hello David,
Yes, this is certainly a contrast with England, and many other places, I would suspect!
I like your pov which in its complexity, has provided a wonderful lead, superb diagonal composition and created a fine sense of perspective. You have timed it just right, with the sun nestling behind a cloud but casting a warm glow on the surrounding sky.
Have a great Sunday,
Bev :-)

mmm ! A nice view for us (cloudy with wind and -8°C here !). But also a nice view for the great perspective and soft light. Grainy ? Perhaps with a magnifying glass !
Merci pour cette promenade !

Hi David
Nice shot of the coastline, I can see the haloing but only because you have drawn my attention to it otherwise I would probably have not noticed.
As Bev says good timing with the sun behind the cloud.
Do you use Photomatix for your HDR, I have tried experimenting with Exposure Fusion in the latest version and sometimes prefer the results to HDR.

Hello David!
It is so a perfect and marvelous shot that I cannot describe. Very nice one in all aspects. The POV, sharpness, the light and colors all are lovely, with a very deep DOF which takes the eyes very far to nothingness and disappearing continuous line of the tress. Nice focus and great details with this HDR work. You have placed the sun well behind a small cloud and the scattered rays through its edges are great.
I will try an HDR too in near future.
TFS, indeed a lovely shot!

ALi

Hi David
I could swear the icicles on the house across the street, here in Korea, are almost 3 feet long, & growing each day. A striking contrast to the tropical scene depicted here. Good repetition of the coconut palms along the beach, & the warm sunset colours add mood. Tfs!

Yes, this will certainly appeal to all of us Northerners! so nice to see a beach and palm trees.
I love the lean of the trees. . is that due to distortion, or prevailing winds?
Great warm colors on the sand, and in the sky and water. Nicely composed shot.

Hi David,
A lovely scene indeed. Reminds me of a similar place that I just returned from a few weeks ago.

Excellent composition of land sea and sky! Superb light. Stunning how you captured and presented these slanted palms. Thanks for the note, it's very informative.

a big perspective, stronger thanks to all those tilted palm trees, and the sun in the empty space... cool ! well managed exposure. nice detail of the sunbeam touching the horizon of the sea

Hi David,
Excellent rendition of tonal range. Excellent details in highlights and shadows. No artifical effect sometime created by over-abuse of HDR and you maintained the ambiance of the moment. Good works and TFS.

Hi David,
I am one of those who´s freezing in the northern latitudes hahaha but i am not rancorous so i won´t say it´s an ugly image which, of course, would be a lie.
You´re a lucky one for being able to reach those amazing landscapes, and we (treklensers) are lucky as well for being able to see them presented and pictured from your talented eye.
I believe that the other critiques before mine express it, so i´ve not much else to add here.
Cheers, Galder
