[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This ia a lilac-breasted roller (Coracias caudatus),
a stout bird that is widely distributed in sub-Saharan
Africa. Males and females have the same coloration. They are usually perched on tree limbs from where they can spot prey: scorpions, lizards, insects, snails, etc. |

Michael
I like this framing and the blue tones.
Fine harmony of colors, good reading of the picture, simple and effective.
I wish you many happy moments of sharing on this site ... I've lost all motivation here, but I will come from time to time to see the respectful people sharing beautiful images.
Good luck.
Hi Michael,
Fantastic image with great sharpness and well exposed except for the loss of detail on its underside and the crop needs a bit more space on the right, otherwise a fine result and good eye catcher.
