Hello Jamie,

Not so much a bad nights sleep, rather a wisely motivated decision to get up early! This is a very nice capture.
Getting a nice raised POV to show the layers of mist was good. Technically, I don't think you need any advice, it's spot on. Another excellent post to add to your very impressive gallery.

Hello John,

You've found a great subject here and the weather conditions were just right to suit the degraded condition of the building.
I think enhancing the colours a touch and also a slight adjustment to the cloud cover would make this a touch moodier and suit the overall view.
I've done a quick workshop to show you what I mean.

Very nice capture.

Hello Robert,

One of the sharpest posts on here today. For a shot taken from your car, it could easily be mistaken for a tripod captured image.
The moody light really adds something special to the overall image. The detail is pin sharp throughout and colours are perfectly balanced with not one hot spot.
Compositionally it can't be faulted, it's a fantastic capture and very well presented.

Hello Niek,

This is a very unusual looking building. I was interested so found a few more details of the building.
Click Here. for a link to the site I used to read up on this building.

I like the POV here Niek. you show the structure from an angle giving us a lot of visual information. The subtle underlight is enough to show off the building. You've captured sharp building detail, good colour and handled the exposure well. Well composed and niceley presented.

Hello Vanda,

Fantastic idea and excellent explanation of how you achieved the final version in workshop. Did you have the final image in mind when you took the shot?
A very creative post using good PP skills. Good job.

Hello Danilo,

A very nice capture of the sunrise at this pier. A two second expose was just right to keep the warmth in the colour and nicely blur the ocean, yet still keeping the stillness of the BG cloud.
The detail throughout the length of pier is pin sharp. Good PP work and well presented. Just one minor point and I'm not sure if you purposely did so to keep the Pier straight, but the horizon is about +1 degree off level and now I've noticed it, it's the first thing I see.
Still an exceptionally good capture.

Hello Julie,
This is a fantastic summertime fun photo. Charlie's looking so unimpressed over the top of the sunglasses. I can't see where you've cloned out the OE fur, so good job on that.
A nicely presented smile creating post.

Hello Andro,

A nice postcard shot of this mountainside/lakeside village. The reflection of the mountain is good as is the cloud. the whole image is very pleasing on the eye. I have noticed a few dirt spots from your lens, they are visible in the sky. They can be easily cloned out.

Hello David,
I like the way in which you have presented this image. Good use of PS to create the frame.
Good sharp detail and nicely exposed showing us deep into the Lionesses mouth.
Doesn't look like those teeth will be there much longer though!

Hello Janneke,
What a fantastic capture you have here. Technically spot on. The gravestones lead the eye further into the image. It is unusual to see old weathered gravestones with such well maintained uniform graves.
You've captured the mood exceptionally well, the mist creates the mysterious effect perfectly. The detail, crisp sharpness and colours are all very good.
Well composed and a good framed presentation.
Definitely adding this shot to my favorites.
