Beautiful capture. Hard crop here, but not an easy photo to crop without losing something out.
Absolutely beautiful colours, and a wonderful action shot. I'm not sure if the close crop here takes away or adds to the shot, I guess I'd have to see a bigger version of the photograph.
Wonderful work either way.
What I love about this shot is that it could have been taken throughout so many countries which have annual snowfall. I guess, it means that thousands of kilometres apart, different varying cultures and languages; there are many similarities between all humanity. A snow fall in Canada looks the same as snowfall in India; we all react to it the same and we all find the same beauty in it.
Great photo and sorry for no points (I don't give them out).
I think the angle here is definitely interesting. As well as the use of black and white which in many ways seems to blend the ground with the sky. Well chosen crop.
A truly superb capture of lines and repetition. Looks like an action shot, but that is the trick of the building itself.
Overall good crop and a good angle to bring about a very balanced composition!
Absolutely beautiful capture Mario. Reminds me very much of a summer I spent canoeing in Algonquin Park.
Their's not a whole lot that can be said about this shot. The crop works very well here and I'm glad you chose to capture this in a vertical instead of a horizontal angle.
While I don't mind the over-exposure of the shot to bring about a sort of 'angelic', dream like glow to the subject. I think that perhaps the cropping could have been just a little tighter to put specific focus on the face of the subject rather than detract by including the torso.
The detail and crispness is wonderful!
Autumn in Poland was always my favourite time of the year. It's just spectacular and I don't think I have ever experienced an Autumn in Canada (weather or colour wise as those of my childhood).
As for the technical aspect of the shot, I do love the capture of vibrancy of colours and the general positioning and angle here. The lighting really helps to bring about a warm feel to the shot.
I heard from a close friend in Poland that it's snowed already, which is odd because here it only rains and I live in Canada.
This is a wonderful capture which mixes the very vibrant colour of the gymnasts clothing with the more monochrome surrounding.
While the crop works, I think taking a bit off the bottom would not have hurt. Overall though a great action shot which as for this subject is not easily taken by any means!
I don't give out points, which I hope you have no problem with!
Great action shot Jacques!
Unfortunately due to the weather you couldn't get a better sky, but definitely a great capture of movement. The crop here is nice and tight and centres the point of view perfectly. Similarly the photo is timed well and the blur of the rotors is minimal.
I'll keep this in English, since it'll be easier for anyone else to read.
On the technical aspect, I think especially how beautiful this young girl is, the crop could be a tad better along with the angle that she is lying at and the camera is positioned. Perhaps if you had stood over her, a more dramatic mood and atmosphere would have provided you with a much better experiment.
I do not want to discourage you Olgierd, I think you have access to truly wonderful and beautiful models (Polskie dziewuchy sa najfajniejsze) and I do think that you are trying to infuse different methods into your photography. However, I think that perhaps going for simplicity, not trying awkward angles or crops is at this time the best option. Keep it simple, do not get distracted by backgrounds, focus on the model herself! While keeping it simple is good, experiment as much as you can! Try different angles (I know, I know I just told you to try awkward angles) and different depth.
I wish you luck and I'll keep you in mind (Will check up and see how things are going)! I won't give you a smile, because I don't want you to feel bad that you only got a point instead of two, this way at least you get a proper critique and hopefully you can only improve!
