Shooting through a tinted car window is a fun to play and experiment with. I've purposely tried shooting sunset/sunrise this way and was surprised to see something unique :)
I like your spontaneous shot of this interesting composition and how you managed to get the main subject nicely exposed.
I love how you'd carefully place the steps to a corner of the frame and the rest also on a nearly perfect ROT lines.
I am not sure on how/what to suggest to move further in improving photography, especially for you, Bill - I strongly believe that you know a lot better than me. But, if I talk to myself, I guess I need to have the courage to step forward to the commercial societies, where challenges are tough, sometimes 'rigid'. I don't know if this is helping me, but I found that I am pushing myself to do something different, at the same time digging something better day after day. I wish I could. I wish I will.
the excellent, and strong image quality has strengthen the story/message you are delivering. nice tight crop for a portrait.
I agree with you, that this sunset of KK could be the best of 2009 to this date, particularly on its glows, colors and cloud formation. surely a nice moment of nature's beauty.
With those details superbly captured, and ouch! the action that added an impact, I totally agreed with Richard.
An incredible result, indeed. Expecting another blowing shots from this technique.
Apa yang bikin cantik ni gambar low-key sini ialah warna! yes nong, ko play with kaler and itulah yang jadi kekuatan ni gambar. adunan dan gradation dari kaler sejuk pigi panas tu cantik.
Nananananah!!! Atuukoi, my first few seconds of seeing this is something what people called 'dreaming'. Fantastic idea and execution. Bravo!!!
I am actually just about to give up Treklens'ing' tonight since my internet connection is running very slow, but seeing the thumbnail of this, I don't think I could miss seeing it in a larger view.
As the photo is slowly 'displaying', I had already finished reading your note in full of excitement. It is very well written. And now I am in thrill and suspense waiting to see the shot.
Aha... I had finished a glass of coffee and now in full admiration seeing the shot!! I wouldn't say much, because I couldn't - it is just wonderful, beautiful and knowing the proper and careful planning and execution, I am amazed, Jens.
I am also asking your permission to make a link in my experimental work [of "dark room + long exposure + flash light" technique to capture a frozen motion] to your note in your previous post. I really like your better explanation about the technique, whereas mine had only giving a confusion to viewers and readers. :-(. If permission is given (with thanks in advance), I'll probably post another experimental shot (maybe tomorrow) and make link to your superb result of "The Lemon Twist", and the excellent note written there.
I hate slow internet connection!!!
Hoh!!! Patutlah indaaaaa da posting chief sia nampak. Rupanya gambar dari Ostrolia pula. Cantik lagi tuh!!
Mari kita ikut...
