While the rocky fence does a good job of hiding,I like the tiny point of vue of the farm poking its head out.
The expression is priceless with a "come on old girl keep going" look.
A good composition that tells a story
Being a cat lover I just can't by pass this one.
He is a handsome little fellow with good coloring and no oe of the whites, so my hat is off to you for succeeding this shot.
Having used a larger aperture would have blurred the background and make the cat stand out more.
I love to see poppies with their frail petals always with such fantastic colors. Outstanding composition of the yellow flower with its dew drop looking like a giant sun competing for first place.
I see you are having fun trying out old techniques.
You must remember when trying to make a photo look old not to have modern stuff in it like the bus.
I like the fence as a lead in and how the sunlight gave off different coloring to the shot.
Thanks for sharing such beauty.
Its incredible to see a flower of this size, the center is definitely fascinating almost shaped like a dragon's head while its petals shows off great coloring.
You most certainly needed space to get this one and its a good shot.
Like stars that shine in the night, these little flowers seem to glow in their dark surroundings with highlights that set off their beauty.
A Good one to keep
Its obvious that the pavement behind the bench and the sky were oe, so you could have duplicated the layer set at multiply this would have darked it quite a bit then used a mask to lighten the people.
It does have the aged look but not that old
As for the photograph in my opinion, you could have cropped a good part off the bottom to bring in your subjects closer, I see it that way others may not.
On the whole you did pretty good with the pp, as you say its a start.
Off to hospital now
Its good to see you posting again, you've been away far too long.
The background sets off this flower that does not seem to suffer from oe, and I am sure Vanda will appreciate the offering of an impeccable white flower
Definitely a nice mood to this shot with its mountain framing the sun poking its way through the clouds.
The rays are great but the sun is rather oe, but not to the point it ruins the shot.
To overcome this type of problem in the future if you cannot use a filter... use your sunglasses to cover the lens
The fact that you gave more importance to the sky is what makes this shot.
The dying sun still blasting rays that I am sure produced a sight to behold 3 to 4 minutes later. I am sure that is for another presentation.
