Olá Andy,
Excellent shot with beautiful and vivid colors (what a red!).
Light is very good and Katrina is a pretty young woman.
Parabéns!

To my opinion, there is many strong points about this shot.
First the pose and cropping. The pose is relaxe, and the slight twist of the shoulder, give the model interesting curves and dynamism. The showing hand is relax and don't distract. Convincing and realistic. As for the 3/4 crop, I think you've cut the bottom part of the dress at the right place..(by the way, a very nice dress) sophisticated, yet not tacky.
The lighting is nice too, tho a little flat, but then again I'm not really into or a fan of what I call "catalogue lighting". Now this is my personnal advice, you might want to consider, having your light a little higher. Above the head lighting, would have avoid those glare on her forhead...that kind of bothers me. Or at the less, using translucide powder, to cut some of it. Getting back to the higher lights, it would produce a more "downworth" effect, creating "nice shadows" under her nose and chin, and place highlights at the right place on her collar bone. Here I find again the the highlight is too low. Then using a small white reflector, to open those shadow area.
Color balance is touch "magenta" (red-blue), adding some yellow and green in minor fashion would fix that.
Don't get me wrong, I think it's a very nice picture, but could be improved.
As the model herself, a very beautifull girl, face expression appears totally sincere. Beautifull smile.
Keep up that nice work.

Very nice shot, Andy.
Excellent vibrant red, and great skin tones.
As far as portrait photography goes, I'm probably not the best to person to give advice, but I like this one just for the bright, vibrant, and happy looking model.
The only thing i see as a failure are the creases in the backdrop, which i've repaired in a workshop version using the healing tool to paint them out.
Other than that, I like it.
Cheers,
Martin

Welcome to treklens, nice portrait, my only nitpick is her cropped elbow. Other than that I really like the shot.

Hoi Andy,
Welcome to Treklens !
I can understand Katrina is happy with it. It is indeed very good.
But, her elbow is hurting now, I guess. Part is cut off. ;-)
And maybe there is a little but too much light on her cheeks, seen the white spots on it.
The white background was a good idea.
Thanks for sharing,
Joop!
Olá Andy,
I missed this one. Katrina is a beautiful young woman. Shot is good.
Parabéns!
