Hi Siyavash, I noticed the title for this photo and I understood right away. I have not seen the movie 300 myself, but from what I've heard it is a movie that is racist against Iranians and Middle Easterners, and promotes the idea that the U.S. should invade Iran. It's disgusting really how Hollywood promotes these hateful and wrong ideas. Did you see the movie yourself? I would be curious to know what your perspective is on the movie as you are Persian. Anyway, really nice vertical cropping and framing that brings focus to the subject and seems almost as a "portrait" for these two soldiers. The contrasts and tones are excellent, and very nice colors that don't look too saturated. Good time of day to take this shot, with light coming from the side, showing the contours of the relief. Thanks for sharing!

Great idea for a shot Siyavash. I love it when people take shots of sculptures and three-dimensional art and artifacts. Good idea to use the blue lighting available and I like the dark background. I find though that the noise could have been reduced by setting the ISO on the camera just a little lower while allowing the camera a longer exposure time (maybe at least 20 to 25 seconds), especially since you had a tripod (good idea to use that! I have a tendency to forget mine). I also think that because the sculpture's head is tilted a bit to the left it leads the eye in that direction so you should leave a little more negative space on the left side. Really great idea though, TFS!

Hi Siyavash,

Nice try of the cloud formation from the air. However i think it is overexposed. You should try PP this type of shot to make it more interesting. I've tried on a workshop. Please take a look at it and tell me your opinion :D
Have a nice and sunny day.

TFS,
Hong
